  • The Abbey Theatre is home to the Company of Ten, St Albans oldest and most prestigious theatrical group. With a 230-seat main auditorium and an 80-seat studio, the theatre presents a wide range of productions each year, from comedies and classics to contemporary drama, as well as opera, music, dance and more. The Theatre is next to the new Westminster Lodge Leisure Centre at the foot of Holywell Hill, a short walk from the town centre.
